Hi SarahS

When I went to Kerala the tour manager arranged for someone to come to the hotel to change currency for us.  Take sterling then you are not changing twice.

Have a great trip - I loved Kerala but be warned Kerala is dry.  Some hotel serve drink but some do not.  Again our tour manager arranged for us to buy alcohol for consumption in our rooms.

Just to agree with all and add “ two pennyworth” on currency..... when I travelled in September most our our group simply changed sterling and/ or USD to rupees at the currency booth at the airport on arrival in Cochi-was a simple process and took only a few minutes. Our local guide took us to cashpoints ( and helped us negotiate them) along the way as the tour progressed and as and when we needed more cash - all quite straightforward
