What a fantastic review as usual. Reading about your trip has made me want to go to Iceland as well. I sincerely hope I get a chance to go some day and am lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights. You certainly were very lucky. I look forward to hearing about all your adventures when we meet in Namibia!

A comment was made about doing a review of Nuneaton.

Goodness me, I was born in Nuneaton and still spend 3 or 4 days a week there looking after my mum, so I could do you a reasonable review. But why would anyone want to do a review of Nuneaton, hey ho.

I have booked Vietnam for November and am travelling with a couple of people I met on my TS Peru trip last September plus a friend I met on my first JY trip to India back in 2005.

I read Bob's brilliant review on Vietnam and am really looking forward, all being well, to going on this tour.

I am just laughing now--what a difference between Nuneaton and Namibia.

As I now know it was a joke I can safely say Nuneaton is best avoided, I apologize if anyone on the community hails from Nuneaton and it upsets them.

I rang up about 25th May departure to Namibia as well.In fact I have rang up a couple of times in case there had been a cancellation. Perhaps I will go next year.

Hi Jaya, many thanks - I am sure you would love Iceland and hopefully you'll get the opportunity at some stage. Yes we were so lucky to see such a brilliant showing of the northern lights - many people just see a faint green smudge in the sky and of course many who go looking for them don't get to see them at all! I am very much looking forward to meeting you in Namibia - just two months to go now!

Hi Di, I must admit I'd never heard of Nuneaton before last week but I hope it has something going for it! Anyhow I hope you get to visit Namibia next year - I'm sure JY will offer it again as it has been a sell out for them this year. And just to keep this post on topic - I hope you decide to visit Iceland at some stage. If you're not sure about the weather, hopefully JY will indeed introduce some summer departures. The scenery is truly stunning.

I received my refund for the whale watching trip as well, together with a very nice letter apologising for the cancellation and hoping that I enjoyed the holiday despite the trip not running. Very prompt and efficient service from JY.
