Have just returned from the Hong Kong, New Zealand and Fiji trip and want to tell anyone who is hesitating whether to book or not - GO FOR IT! It was such a wonderful holiday, brilliant from start to finish and Trish Ward our Just You companion is just great, always smiling, so helpful and cheerful and she thought of everything. Thank you Just You xx

Hi glad you had a great holiday, just a query for you - were you offered various excursions whilst in Fiji or just left to your own devices? I'm a bit wary of beach add-ons in case there's nothing to do, as I'm very fair and can't lie out in the sun! Any info would be very welcome as I hope to do this tour at some stage.

Many thanks,

Bob

Thanks for the info Cindy, I asked Olly a similar question on another thread and he thinks that a local rep/guide is on hand to offer excursions. I hope that is the case! I don't think JY/Travelsphere would just leave guests with no liaison and nothing to do? Hope not anyway!!

Best wishes,

Bob

PS where are you off to next??

Hi Bob.....

When I did the add on with the Kenyan Safari we were left to do our own thing there was a womak rep there but not holding our hands so to speak. The JY Rep flew back with the main party from Kenya the same as the NZ rep did..

From when the girls left us to go to Fiji by the time they had travelled and got there and to the point of leaving I think they were just hoping to be on the sunloungers, after doing HKG and NZ they wanted to Chill!!!

Can you believe I don't have any more JY hol's booked, I am waiting to have a look at this perhaps new trip to Florida way in USA there is talk about?.. or I do have my eye on 1 or 2 or perhaps both USA tours but not till Sept perhaps next year!!!!!!.......My kid's are costing a bit at the moment ie grandchildren etc.. so will just have to WAIT.....a while..

Hi Cindy, enjoy being a granny! I'm thinking about Vietnam/Cambodia next and then possibly the Parks/Canyons/LBH but will have to see what the new brochure brings. Hope you'll be jetting off somewhere exciting before too long and thanks for the info!

Take care,

Bob

Hi Bob

Pleased to hear that you are still travelling. I am booked for New Zealand in November without the add on (hopefully as does'nt seem to be many booked so far) and Val is doing Vietnam. Hope you enjoy wherever you go. South Africa will take a lot of beating. Jenny (elephant/shoe - remember)

Hi Jenny, lovely to hear from you! I was telling someone about the elephant picking up your shoe just the other day! Yes indeed S Africa and Zambia will certainly take some beating! I'm back from India, a great holiday especially seeing a tiger close up in Ranthambore and the Taj Mahal was amazing. Hope your NZ tour goes ahead and you have a brilliant time and Val enjoys Vietnam.

Best wishes,

Bob
