I also cann't believe I was on the same trip as Adrian.It ranked as one of the best three holidays I have had.We covered a few miles but this was necessary to see it all, in the time we had.If I remember we had breakfast included every morning bar one.The hotels were more than adequate, as they were really only for sleeping in, as there was so much to do outside of the hotels.From San Francisco to Vegas, and The Grand Canyon it was as in the words of Van Morrison, FANTABULOUS.Great sights,wonderful weather,fab new friends made.I'm going back the the U.S of A in Feb but this time to the Mardi Gras in New Orleans, taking in Memphis and Nashville.I just loved it all.
