Hi Jennyf

According to our Holiday Creators, it is best to take debit cards and credit cards to use at cash points, if you do want to take cash they recommend Pound Sterling.

Kind regards

Matt

Hi Jenny

It is very easy to change Sterling into Rupees if you do not want to use your Debit card.

Hi. I have just come back from India. I agree Stirling is best. However we had trouble at a few of our hotels, which is the most reliable place to change money, running out of cash! The exchange rate is not bad at the hotels. ATMs are very unreliable. Paying in Rupees on a specialist card for goods can work well. Try to get small notes if possible. Often need 10 Rupees note for WC! (roughly 10p).
