I see from Trip Advisor that Salou (where the holiday is based, at the Hotel Acqua) charges tourists a city tax.  This appears to cover the whole of Catalonia, and is payable on arrival at your hotel. 

Could you confirm please that this is covered within the holiday, or does it have to be paid separately to the hotel on arrival?  There is nothing I can find on the JY website to indicate this. 

I  went on the Catalonian Coast Escape earlier in the year and cannot remember having to pay a city tax on arrival, so I was just curious.
