Thinking about booking Discover Vietnam, not sure whether it will be 19th Jan 2017 or 16th Feb. Do you know if ether of these have the green light? Also can you please confirm whether a visa is needed.

I am pleased to inform you that both dates have been given the green light.

Until 30 June 2017 ‘British Citizen’ passport holders travelling for tourism or business can enter Vietnam for up to a maximum of 15 days without a visa. If you have a different type of British nationality – for example ‘British national (overseas)’- you’ll need to get a visa before entering Vietnam.

Thank you Mildred that has cleared that up as I have seen threads on here that have conflicting answers.

Mildred has taken the above from the FCO website which has the latest information. We have experienced changes in the past (I'm sure some of our travellers will remember when India changed their entry requirements) so we would always recommend checking the latest advice.
