Hi,

I'm thinking of booking this holiday and was wondering if you could let me know the estimated flight times for this tour, and whether free connecting flights would be available from and to Newcastle from Heathrow on this date?

Is anyone already booked on this tour?

Regards

Good Afternoon Caroline,

It is still early but there are currently 2 travellers booked on this tour.

The provisional departure time from Heathrow is 13:15

The provisional arrival time at Heathrow is 06:50

You will have to contact one of our holiday advisors regarding the connecting flights.

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Hi Caroline

I did a different version of this trip in 2013. That holiday ended with three days in New York but most of the other places visited were the same. I really enjoyed the holiday and would like to go back to Boston and the Cape Cod area.

My advice is go for it.

Regards

Lesley

Hi Lesley,

Thanks for your response. I've had this tour on my list for a long time so I'm finally hoping to do it next year, though I've also noticed the Great Eastern USA tour which looks great too. Fortunately I've already been to New York twice before, although the second time was when hurricane Sandy struck so I didn't get as much sightseeing done as planned, so I'd love to go back. Hopefully be Great Eastern tour will run for a few years so I can do it.

I was going to miss the trip to Cape Cod as I would prefer to spend the day in Boston as I've never been before. I was originally hoping to go to Cape Cod and do the Boston add-on, but unfortunately it does not run on the date I'm going. Hopefully I'll get more information before deciding what to do.

Regards

Caroline

I just did this trip on 28 Sept. Flight times LHR to Toronto just under 7 hr, Boston to LHR 6hr.

You might find that the 18 Sept will be too early for the autumn colours. This year the colours were about 2 weeks late due to the hot summer and we only saw them properly once we had crossed into the USA in early Oct.

Thanks for helpful advice Liz P,

It's more the destination I want to visit so I'm not as bothered about the colours, although it would enhance my holiday. I take that particular fortnight off work for my birthday so I'm fitting my holiday around that as well.

Regards

Caroline
