I have asked the same question four times over the past five weeks and am still waiting for an answer. I doubt so many posts could have vanished into the ether, even though the last one was sent from Sri Lanka. I was asking for reassurance in light of some very negative comments on feefo. Under the new moderating regime, are questions which might be adverse to the JY image now being filtered out?

Hi SarahS,

As you are aware we do moderate posts, but we never filter them out. Whether we receive positive or negative comments is something I think that the users of the community should be able to see, especially when improvements can/have been made - so why block them out?

There may be some posts which do get lost in the ether for some reason or another. However, this is just a downfall of IT that we just can't help unfortunately. I admit that there is sometimes a slow response, but this is because we pass comments on and ask other teams for the answer to some questions - which means that we can provide you with the correct information.

I hope you understand.

Kindest regards,

Monty

One of my posts seems to have disappeared into the ether, given that it was posted a week ago and still hasn't appeared. You might want to be worried if this is happening often, because most forum software is more reliable than that.

Hi Hunt,

I'm sorry your original post has not made it live on the site just yet.

As Monty has highlighted above - there are occasions where the Just You Community team don't have the information to hand and have to seek advice from other members of the Just You team. When this is the case, we don't publish the question to the live site as it may get lost amongst the other threads that are on the site.

I can confirm that your post is in the queue and I have chased my colleague for a response.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Thanks Julia. Can I suggest that you allow those posts to appear straight away and simply post that you're looking into it? That avoids unnecessary angst and allows other posters to chime in straightaway with their experience, if they have any.

Otherwise your commendable diligence can lead to people thinking there are problems.

I also have had no response to my posts, one on your website under 'contact us' & another in reply to the heading 'new brochure'

Requests to your advisors have also brought no response. It would be appreciated if someone could just say it is being looked into

Strange none of my posts has yet appeared, although all the later ones (on totally different topics), seem to have made it.

Hi I agree with what Ian "Hunt" has said above - if there is going to be a delay in answering a question it would be much better to post it straight away with a holding reply such as this matter is being looked into and will be followed up. It is very frustrating when posts don't appear!

Cheers,

Bob

I've also made a couple of new threads but neither appeared so i guessed they were moderated out, but i can't imagine why.

Great idea Ian. It's very frustrating when posts don't appear. It would be good to know posts are delayed while the moderators are finding answers. In the past I have been very happy with the replies to my questions. Julia in particular seems to have access to information that isn't available to the JY telephone customer service agents.

I've raised a couple of concerns in the past and thought they'd been supressed, but when I've used the option to look at all my posts, Julia and the team have always responded, they just don't appear on the new posts

Hiya

I'm struggling to understand this too. I posted a question a few dAys ago but have seen no reply. So do I anticipate that my original post failed or that it is being looked into? It would be good to receive a post to say that the enquiry is being looked at, at least it would give a clue the message had been received? I did click the subscribe notifications box so??? Help!!

Regards

Hi Suitsya,

I am currently awaiting a reply from the people who have access to the information regarding your question. The problem we have with approving posts before we have received an answer is that we lose the post and there is a risk that we will never be able to find it again - totally annoying I know. I do try and reply as soon as possible and this is usually within a couple of days maximum, even if it means chasing people around the HQ with a notepad and pen!!

Kindest regards,

Monty
