Hi Ken,

We recommend that you take Sterling or Euros, preferably in cash as US Dollars are no longer accepted as legal tender in shops and businesses. You will have to exchange your Sterling into convertible currency on arrival and pay a commission fee. Convertible Cuban Peso is not traded outside of Cuba therefore you have to take Pound Sterling or Euros to convert on arrival.

In terms of clothing...casual lightweight clothes, including a sun hat and a comfortable pair of shoes, are recommended throughout the tour. We recommend you take a cardigan or jacket for air-conditioned buildings or transportation. The climate will be somewhat humid at times. There may be occasional rain showers, these tend to be heavy but brief, and are usually followed by brilliant sunshine.

Kindest regards,

Julia
