Hi Sarah,

So the meal is buffet style and there are no allocated seats so you can sit where you like but the group will tend to sit with others in the group.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Julia

Is this the case on all holidays where it is pot luck if you get to sit with some of the group??

Very surprised that there is no seating allocated for the group to be able to sit together..............but maybe the fact that it is a very large group has something to do with it.

Do the group meet up at a certain time before going in to dine?

Hi Carol,

The arrangements are different for different hotels. Where possible we do try to keep the group together as much as possible and many of the hotels we use will reserve a number of tables for us.

Depending on the tour and if it is an included meal, the Tour Manager will give you a guide of what time to meet up and where.

Kindest regards,

Julia

When I went to Mijas two years ago we were allocated tables. It was a large group and most people made an effort to sit with different people each evening. Some of us met up in the bar before dinner and afterwards quite a few of us walked along into the centre for a chat and a drink. It was my first JY holiday and I loved it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Many thanks Julia and Rae for the info. Once I decide which holiday I am doing I can always ask again as to dining arrangements.

I think Just You could take a leaf out of the singles holiday firm One Traveller's book where every member of the party is given a number and each evening the tour manager puts out the numbers on the table in a different order so everyone sits with a different set of people each evening. It works really well and helps to bond the group.
