Hi Gillian,

Of course, the Tour Manager provisionally allocated on this trip is Debbie Alcorn and it looks like she will be travelling with the group from the UK.

In terms of the mix there are 11 booked to travel in total. Three of the group are taking the main Discover Vietnam tour only with the rest of the group staying on for the Angkor Wat, Phnom Penh and Mekong River Add-on. The whole group is made up of 2 men and 9 women with ages ranging from late-40s through to early-70s.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Caroline,

It's good to hear from you. Sorry for the delay in my reply, I've had a problem with my computer. This will be my third Just You trip, I went to China last year and Africa 3 years ago. Both were great. Don't worry about a thing it's going to be amazing. It's not long now, I've been following the weather forecast and it looks quite hot at the moment. See you soon, Gillian

Hi Peter,

It's good to hear from you. Not long now! The weather looks good, I can't wait to get some sunshine. As I replied to Caroline, this is my third Just You trip, it's going to be amazing so don't worry about a thing. See you soon, Gillian

Hello Bob,

Thanks for your reply. I've enjoyed reading you reviews, they are always very helpful.

I'm thinking of taking just US Dollars and getting a small amount of local money when I get there. On previous trips local money was good for street markets etc. I don't like carrying a lot of cash but I think getting cash from machines can be difficult and I suppose it would all be in local currency. What do you think.

I have a universal adaptor, will this do for both Vietnam and Cambodia?

You mention there being a few tummy troubles, not too bad I hope.

I'm going on 22nd October so not long now.

Thanks again for all your very helpful input to the forum.

Kind regards

Gillian

Hi Gillian,

Many thanks for your kind comments! I brought US $ and changed them in the hotels - a few people had ordered dong from their bank but it was easy to change it when there. I brought my universal adaptor (two round or two slanted pins) and it was fine in both countries. I really recommend Boots Digestion Support Travel pills - I used them on this tour and had no problems but everyone is different. Be sure to bring some Immodium Instants just in case!

Have a great holiday,

Bob
