Hi Julia,

Do we still get to use the lovely lounge at Heathrow before this holiday, or has that all stopped now? It's so easy to meet up with fellow travellers, if it's there for our use!

Kind regards

Anne

Hi Anne,

The use of the executive lounge is now only available on a selection of our Long Haul holidays - sadly the New England & Canada tour is not one of them.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Why is the lounge only on a selection of JY long hauls now? It always used to be all long hauls if there was a lounge in departures. I must admit it was always a nice thing too have In place before a long haul flight and a great place to meet the others ion the LONG! Journey.

I would be interested to know why it's only on offer for some of the tours.

Hi Julia,

Aw thaat's a shame, but not to worry - I'm sure all us blue label people will be looking out for each other in the lounge anyway! Many thanks for getting back to me

Best wishes

Anne

Hi Cindy (and others)

I wasn't 100% certain about the answer to this so I asked around and there are two reasons as to why this is now the case.

Firstly, due to a number of lounge closures last year (whether for refurbishment or removal) it meant that we weren't able to guarantee this to our customers for every tour date which was frustrating to both us and our travellers.

Secondly, not all of the terminals/lounges are able to accommodate our groups.

We are aware that that they are great locations to meet fellow travellers and will continue to look into this where possible.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Thanks for getting back with an answer..

I suppose I will have to just pay to use it now LOL...I am a lady that likes comfort and to relax as you well know flying is not my favourite thing to do, so it does help me to be away from the crowds..LOL. OOOOO I sound so posh, which I am not!
