I am doing this tour this year and have read the (excellent) reviews from other travellers. However, there is one thing that causes me a slight concern. If the time of the return flight is 9.20pm ( local time) and there is a morning tour, what arrangements , if any, are made for the afternoon /early evening with regards access to hotel rooms to freshen up etc. Last year I did the Route 66 tour. We checked out of the hotel at 7.30am, did the LA tour and after a couple of hours in Santa Monica we went straight to the airport and got the plane. Having been to Las Vegas before I don't fancy hanging around in the desert heat killing time waiting for the flight home.

I've been informed that check-out on this day is at 11am however a later check-out can be arranged (at a cost). If this is something that you would like, you will need to speak to your Tour Manager once you arrive in the USA.

According to some details we have here, you will be leaving for the airport at approximately 5.45pm.

Not the perrfect answer I know but I keep a change of clothes in my hand luggage and can wash and change at the airport (certainly at a minimum can put a clean shirt on).
