Hi I'm booked on the Hawaii trip for 7th october this year with all the prebookable excursions too. I assumed that the cultural centre trip would be an afternoon visit since it says dinner, and the submarine trip which is on the same day would be morning. However I've just got my info pack and it says the cultural centre is a full day. Are these going to clash? I booked over the phone and would have thought I would have been told if it was either or when booking :)

Also while I'm here would you be able to give me an idea of the age ranges on the holiday? Just wondering if theres anyone else in my age range so I know what to expect. I'm in my late 20s so thinking I might be one of the youngest but hoping there will be a nice range. Starting to get a bit nervous as it gets closer.

Many thanks!

Hi Hayley

I have double checked this and can confirm that you are able to do both excursions. The submarine trip has several times against it and is usually booked for 8, 9 or 10am and lasts around 2 hours, the Cultural Centre trip is from 1:30pm-10pm. According to my colleague it is considered a full day because of the duration of the trip - however, she will update this to avoid any confusion in the future (so thank you for bringing this to our attention)

On to the second part of your post there are 36 people booked on this holiday and there are 4 places left so what I say may change....

As you are in your late-twenties, I can confirm that you are the youngest on the trip - the rest of the group is from early forties to mid-seventies. There are 10 men booked and the rest women.

You're not the first to start getting nervous and you certainly won't be the last. I am aware that at least one of your fellow travellers has used the community (I recognised a name of the passenger list) so I'm sure if you post in the "say hello to other travellers" section, you may be able to get in touch with each other - this may help ease some of those nerves.

Have a wonderful holiday

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Hayley

Don't worry too much at being the youngest. I'm 41 (turning 42 while we're out there) but have often been accused of being a child!!

I've booked all the excursions now - as Julia says there should be time to fit everything in as well as a bit of beach time. I noticed from the paperwork there has been a change in our last LA hotel but the new one looks better than the old.

The countdown really starts now that the final balance has been paid - less than 12 weeks to go.

Hi Julia, thanks very much for clearing that up. Would have been a bit disapointed if I'd have had to choose 🙂

I've booked all the optionals too, I googled them and they all seem to have good write ups and it looks like we get the rest of the day to relax after the 2:30am start
