Good afternoon Dave,

Thanks for getting in touch, it certainly lives up to it's name this tour, it is fantastic! The below details are subject to slight change but at present the flight times are:

Depart Heathrow 21.30 - Arrive 18.35 in Singapore

Depart Singapore 19.45 - Arrive 01.05 in Perth (arrive just after midnight on Day 3)

All flights are operated by Qantas.

I hope this helps,

Kindest,

Ben

Hi Ben / Dave,

QANTAS will NOT be operating through Singapore after April 13th 2013 and will infact go to Australia via Dubai.

Therefore not sure what airline JY will arrange to go to Singapore in November.

Good morning both,

I have just double and triple 🙂 checked with our aviation department.

From April, we will be flying with to British Airways so we can still go via Singapore.

From January 2014 we will switch back to Qantas and go via Dubai.

It's an airlines prerogative to make as many changes as they see fit, we try and keep consistent schedule/timings/route so that's why we are switching between the two.

I hope this helps and we see you on a tour soon Dave,

Kindest,

Ben

Hi Dave,

No problem at all, I am happy to help. That is correct, British Airways to Singapore then Qantas to Australia.

Hi again Ben,

I believe that Qantas will also be cancelling the QF78 to Perth that goes from Singapore just having one flight a day.

Normally the QF78 was the connecting flight for the QF10 from London. Considering you will be flying BA this year, they normally arrive in Singapore earlier than Qantas did, I am not sure if Jetstar fly to Perth around this time or if Singapore Airlines will be the prefered carrier to Perth.

I have picked all this information from the "Qantas watch" web site which gives you all these titbits of Information.

Morning Ben

was just wondering about Amazing Australia as close to booking now, Alice Springs the western Mcdonnell ranges, would this clash with the included sightseeing tour of AS as only really the one full day there, i would at a guess say the included tour be in the morning and the ranges in the afternoon or the other way round

also any knowledge whats going on with these flights, Qantas seem to be cancelling this and changing that etc, bit of a concern really

regards dave

Good morning Dave,

That's great news, you are correct, in the morning you will have the included tour of Alice Springs and then have the half day Western McDonnell excursion in the afternoon. In regards to the flights, I am led to believe it is a bit of an ongoing saga for our aviation department. However I have been advised that whilst there may still yet be slight changes everything will done to ensure no major changes occur, if you did book you would be kept up to date with any changes that may affect you.

I hope this helps,

Kindest,

Ben
