We visit Torres where we will be able to witness a thousand year old tradition; wine making. You will find the most sophisticated technology working hand in hand with tradition. The hour long tour begins inside the splendid 1300 m² visitors centre, with the screening of a video which explains the history.
At Pacs you can visit the Estate where they will show you the secrets of planting and picking grapes. You can see the arrival of the grapes, the fermentation process and visit the ample underground cellars. You will be able to walk amongst the casks, smell the wine whilst it ages and understand the secrets of this work.
And so that you may savour the results of our efforts, we have included a wine-tasting session of 3 wines (1 x white, 1 x rose and 1 x red) at the end of your tour in the vaulted-roofed tasting hall, so that you leave el Penedès with a good taste in your mouth...
In the afternoon we continue to the modernist coastal resort of Stiges, a place that has always captivated artists, tourists and, in general, visitors from all around the world. For many the secret lies in its light and almost 300 sunny days a year, as confirmed by painters, sculptors and writers who made this town their home during the late 19th century.
