Hi Sue

You are in for a treat - Italy is my favourite European country and there are so many things to see and experience.

If you want to see the main attractions, I would recommend Classic Cities of Italy, which takes you to Venice, Tuscany, Florence, the leaning Tower of Pisa and of course Rome.

Hi Olly

I have just read a testimonial on this holiday and it said that when you go to Rome you only see things from the coach is this true?

Hi Sue

You will have plenty of time off the coach. Here is the basic itinerary for the day (subject to change):

07:30 Depart hotel

10:00 Arrive in Rome - several hours' free time at St Peter's.

13:30 three-hour tour, driving to the Colosseum for a look around the exterior. Then you'll continue on foot to Trevi Fountain via the Forum & Piazza Venezia (about 45mins). If too hot there is a bus you can take to the Trevi Fountain, then a 20-30 min walk to Spanish Steps.

16:30 Return to your hotel.

19:15 Arrive at Hotel.

I hope this helps.
