I have done Prague as a city break do your own thing with Hubby a few years back we went early January, it WAS COLD but fantastic dry clear days with deep blue sky. Loved the town square and the buildings from a photography veiwpoint. Nice walk along the famouse bridge and up to the castle. I managed to book a historic walk to do with the persecuted Jews, went to a couple of synagues and jewish graveyard. (I love the jewish history and anything about the holocaust). Was fascinating. You will have a great time in Praque the town market is good lots to eat and taste!!! Have fun enjoy seeing the clock tower...exciting!!!!!!!!!

Hi Cindy,
I have been to Prague before, but only for a couple of days as part of a tour of Eastern Europe, and also it was in the Summer so the weather will be vastly different. I liked what I saw so hence my decision to go there this Xmas. I look forward to seeing some more of Prague this time. I had a feeling that there is a set of shoes on the quayside at Prague - as a memorial - but I did so many places at that time that I may be confused. I can check it out this time.
If you are interested in the Holocaust, I expect you have been to Auschwitz - I did this on the same tour when we were in Krakow. I will go back to Poland again for the same reason. It is a lovely country. I loved Warsaw and Krakow so look forward to seeing both some more. These type of tours are snapshots of places so there are always some places you want to return to, to see more.
I know it is not too long before you are off again. So I hope you too have a good trip.
Best wishes,
Lesley
