I am booked on the Kenya all inclusive in September. Will there be a safe in my room at the safari lodge and beach hotel. Also how many people are booked on this trip now, their gender and ages? I have been reading all the posts and am now very confused about how to pack my luggage for both stages. Can anyone clarify this please?:-/

Good Morning,

There are either safes in the room or safety deposit boxes at the lodge for use. At present there are 11 people booked onto your tour, 9 female, 2 male, ages range from 34 to 82. You will need your main case which will be transferred for you to the hotel for after your safari. For the Safari you will need a soft holdall sized bag which can be put easily into the 4x4s which you use on the safari,

Kindest Regards

Ben

Hi, i was in Kenya on the 16th of May this year, there are safe's in both Lodge and hotel.

I made my Safari bag my hand luggage, but you can not put your shampoo, ect but what i did was put it in my hold case at the top , and when i got to Mobassa i took all i needed out into my Safari bag, befor they took it away.

Make sure your case for Mobassa has a lock on it.

you do not need a lot while you are on Safari, it is a great holiday wish i was going back.

Can you say hi to Ally & Duncan for me , and Tonny from the boat at the bech hotel, have a great time.

Thank you Vera for your response. I was thinking of having my main case shrink wrapped at the airport and buying small sized shampoos etc once past security to put in my Safari bag which will be hand luggage. But then was wondering if this was practical with the onward transfer to Mombasa.

Also since you have already done this trip are there any extra excursions you can recommend. Thank you

Thank you Vera for your response. I was thinking of having my main case shrink wrapped at Heathrow (there were machine which do that last time I was there) and buy small sized shampoo etc once I am past security. But then remember that we transfer at Nairobi to Mombasa, any idea on their rulings on carrying liquids etc?

Also can you recommend any extra excursions some friend have suggested a trip into Mombasa.
