Hi Olly,

Looking to the future (maybe next year) one holiday I really fancy doing is the trip to Australia.

However I can't understand why it is so muc more expensive than what looks like the same trip with Just You sister company travelsphere.

On first glance the holiday on similar dates is around £1600 more expensive with JY and travelsphere offer a single room option of £825 still making it roughly £800 more costly.

Personally I wouldn't want to travel as a single with couples but the difference does seem quite a lot.

Why the price difference ?

thanks

Mick

Hi Mick

I can see why it might seem like that, but there are lots of factors in determining the final price that may not be obvious.

On the whole, you'll probably find that more is included in the basic price of a Just You holiday. One example is that in Australia Just You gives you breakfast every day plus a number of your lunches and dinners, which would explain some of the price difference here.

As you say, the biggest advantage of travelling with Just You is that you will be with other single travellers, whereas on a Travelsphere holiday the majority of your fellow travellers would be couples.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

Hi Mick

I travel with Just You now , but I started with Travelsphere in 1994 . I travelled with Travelsphere on varies long hauls until Just You started. I always had a good holiday and a good time and was always made to feel part of the group by all couples. Never felt left out or by myself .
