Hi

Can you let me know how best to organise money for the 24th November Magic of Kenya.

I am worried about carrying too much cash, however, your information states that it is difficult to cash travellers cheques. Your advice please.

Many thanks

Julie

Hi Julie

Personally I would take cash (Kenyan Shillings) on this trip as you won't need a huge amount. Most of your meals are included, so you will only really need larger amounts of money if you wish to take the optional excursions. I have included prices for our 2010 excursions below as a guide. You can pay in British pounds for these, so you could take a few larger notes to cover the cost of those. Bear in mind that prices are approximate and may change slightly.

Kenya - Dolphin Dhow - £87

This trip offers the chance to be taken by the Dolphin Experts to search for the dolphin that so often frequent the area.

Kenya - Half Day City Tour of Mombasa - £33

Experience the city of Mombasa and what this historic and multi-cultural city has to offer.

Having just done this tour I agree with what Olly say's. I took Kenyan shillings, and Sterling, they also do like to be paid in American dollars as well. I did take a credit card with me just in case.

Hello

The Chinese currency is the yuan and the exchange rate is currently about £1 = 10.4 yuan. Bear in mind that most of your meals and excursions are included on this holiday so you won't need a huge amount of spending money - just enough for souvenirs, presents, drinks and other small expenses.
