I'm looking at joining a Christmas tour as I'm currently living overseas and too far to travel home. I'm in my mid 30s, just curious would I be too young? I've done tours in the past with other companies but love the idea of meeting other single travellers ?

Hi Sarah

I'm not on a Christmas tour but I'm now 27, I'm just about to go to Greece on Monday with JY and again I'm the youngest. This will be my 9th holiday since I was 19. So no I don't think so hehe!

Even if your are the youngest on that tour, you'll always get along with the people as it's meeting like minded people with the same interests 🙂

Hope you book and have a wonderful time!

Chloe xx

HiChloe

Thanks so much for the reply and reassurance! ?

The idea of travelling with other singles and like minded people is definitely a plus!

Enjoy your tour, I’ll be booking mine on the weekend!

I'm 43 and more often than not, the youngest. Age is just a number and I'd agree with Chloe's comments. Have a great time whatever you decide on!

Hi Sarah

I agree with Chloe (I've not done a Christmas Tour with JY) but the holidays I have been on have been great fun and you start with a group of like minded people all going to a place you want to see and you will find that they will become like family within the first couple of days. Certainly don't let your age be a barrier some of us old, sorry older, F..ts are often good fun and the ones in between aren't bad either and some of us need someone to sort out our technology !!??.

Once you take the plunge and book the first one you will find it becomes addictive as Chloe will no doubt agree. I found JY  4 years ago at 68 and have done 3 holidays with them so far and just wish I had found them earlier.

So off you go, pick, book and ENJOY.

Paul

I can vouch for what Chloesonic says. We both went on an Indian tour in 2016 and I'm the wrong side of 70. We all had a great time. Everybody joins in and there is no age discrimination.

Hi Chloe 🙂 🙂

Thanks so much for the replies and advice everyone! I’ve booked my Christmas trip, yay! Looking forward to it and meeting some lovely people I’m sure. Thanks the reassurance  🙂 😃

I've been on one Christmas holiday with JY, to Salzburg in 2016. Was the first Christmas after my mum died and I just wanted to get away - anywhere! Wasn't planning it and booked quite late, picked Salzburg as it was the only one that departed Christmas Eve, as I couldn't go on one that left any earlier as I had no annual leave left, really glad I did and would recommend it if it's still available.

Thanks Andy, glad you had a great time on the Salzburg Christmas tour! I’m booked on the Prague Christmas tour. Looking forward to it!   🙂

This is very reassuring for me too. I'm 37 and have just booked Christmas in Verona.
