Hello Wesspan,
I agree with Andy, a great trip with many different forms of transport included. Slight change to Rorschach where after the cruise we went on the cog railway and post bus up to Heiden where there is a statue for Henri Dunant, founder of the Red Cross. You go instead to Bregenz for the amazing stage which we saw on our return from Lindau. Ravensburg was our first stop on our way to Lindau. Famous for the wonderful jigsaws, this was a great place to stop. Voting for the various political parties had lots of stalls. Came away with lots of goodies, fruit and cakes 🙂 Our one disappointment was the brewery. I wanted a glass tankard to bring back. They were waiting on supplies. The other coach tours were fed first, we had to wait. They washed a glass for me to bring back.
Be prepared to put on pounds in weight. The cakes and struedel were delicious as was the hot chocolate. Loved Appenzell x
