Hi Michael
Yes I will also be getting there about 4am. Yes it is the worst departure time I've had but if you think about it we arrive around 9 so then we get a full day in Italy, to make the most of it so I prefer that ::) how many euros are you taking? Oh Peru is definitely one of the ones I'm hoping to do next, but hoping to do Borneo first. Travelsphrere are very similar though so I'll be talking to you and getting your very good advice on that ::)
Looking forward to meeting you.
Cya soon

Hi Chloe:
Nice to hear from you. Since posting my last comment, I saw somewhere else on this site an exchange on this very subject where a respondent was saying that he had an 06:20 departure and was seeking advice. Replies suggested there was no point in getting there more than an hour or an hour-and-a-half before the flight at that time of night!
Still I have a car booked for 03:15 still so I’ll still be there by 4am. I was also persuaded by the upside you mention of having almost another full day in Italy. Also of getting an early choice of seat on the aircraft.
I decided on £200, or €228 in cash. And £50 in pounds. But I shan’t be spending/wasting money on souvenirs for all and sundry so if you think you will, you’d need to calculate the extra you might spend on them or yourself in that respect.
I can give you my advice on Peru now in one word: GO!! And on China in seventeen more emphatic words I told everyone upon my return: “You MUST go to China; the greatest trip I have ever had in my life!
Don’t forget if you go with Travelsphere, you might well be the only singleton amongst the group, as I was in Peru, bar one other.
See you very soon; now back to packing!
Michael
