Hello , I am new to just you holidays .....have booked my first holiday to Italy , flying from gatwick on Sunday 3rd June .....excited but also nervous as first ever holiday alone . Would like to link up with anyone going on this holiday .

Hi there veronica, i have also just joined this forum & have booked my very first solo holiday. I am travelling up to Gatwick on 12th !!!! then fly at the crack of dawn on the sunday. where about's are you going in italy? I have chosen the walking tour at the top of lake garda.....am excited.....but very nervous. its all a very big step isn't it....hopefully easier the next time !!

It is a big step .....love holidays , but not been on my own before ....pushing out of my comfort zone , but sure it will be fine .....hope it leads to wanting to do more .

I can guarantee that you will want to do more once you have been on your first Just You trip! Puglia is on my radar as I have heard so many good things about this destination. Hopefully I will get a chance to do this trip soon.

Good choice  for a first JY holiday.  It must be at least 6 years since I went to Puglia, but if things remain the same it's a beautiful unspoilt part of Italy.  It's not a full on holiday, which is what I prefer, but if you want a more leisurely time there is a nice balance of interesting excursions with time to relax before dinner and I would highly recommend this as a short haul holiday. Everyone is nervous the first time but you will be fine. Have a great time, I'm sure this will be the first of many more to come.
