Hello out there...  I am looking at holidays in Italy in September or October 2017.

Would love to hear from anyone who is going or can give me any recommendations for the various choices.

Thanks   xx

I would recommend  Pmpeii plenty to see and  do, from history to spectacular scenery and the chance to visit Capri.  If you want somewhere a little more off the tourist trail, try Apulia,  a still relatively unspoiled region .  If   you haven't  been to Italy before, the cities may appeal to you. Italy has so much to offer. Wherever you choose, have a great time.

Hi Linni,

Welcome to JY, I have been on a few Italian holidays, Apulia, Calabria, Sicily, Cilento Coast,

Pompeii, Portofino & Cinque Terre and I can recommend them all, they all have their own characters and

individual appeal, but my two most favourite are Pompeii, Sorrento & The Bay of Naples and Discover Sicily.

There is a great choice so which ever one you choose I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Dave.

Hi Linni

I recommend Pompeii, Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. I did it in September 2015 and we all had a super time. It's not only about the ruins - you get the chance to do the stunning Amalfi drive through Positano, Amalfi and up to Ravello and there's also options to visit beautiful Capri and, if you are feeling adventurous, take a hike up Vesuvius. There's also plenty of opportunities to chill out with a gelato

If you put Pompeii into the search function at the top right hand of the page, you'll find loads of reviews and tips.

Whatever you choose, I know you will thoroughly enjoy it.

All the best

Mandy

HI Linni

I have done many JY holidays far and near, since 2006, the only Italian one I have been on was Tuscany Highlights which I can thoroughly recommend. Not to busy but lots to see, any questions just ask.

Hi KSM,

I too am going on this tour in October, 12th to 19th travelling from Gatwick. Which one are you on?

I'm really excited as I've never been on this type of holiday before now, always travelled solo.
