What does everyone think of the new tours?

I'm very happy to see Iran, looks amazing - really want to go there, even though it will be a pain in the ..... for the additional hoops and cost of getting a US visa afterwards.

Really, really disappointed with the New England offering - really hoping that the TS tour, including Maine and so much more would be offered by JY.

Also interested in the central America tour starting in Panama, finishing in Guatemala - only overlap I can see with the Mex/Guatemala/Belize trip is the visit to Tikal, and as I've not done the Costa Rica/Nicaragua trip would be interested in this one.

Mongolia anyone?

Hi.  Haven't got my brochure yet but have seen Mongolia on the website.  Can you explain the add on please the main holiday is 14 days and the add on is 14 days but appears to include the Great Wall.  Surely this isn't 28 days in total?

Interesting!

Iran and Mongolia are certainly attractive - but, it states that "it can take six months to obtain a visa" for Iran!! I hope they don't want to keep our passports for half the year . . .

And the journey to Mongolia is apparently via Beijing, since it is with Air China: it seems a long way round (does it really have to be Air China?) - but at least it allows an inexpensive stopover in Beijing, with an excursion to the Great Wall at Mutianyu rather than Badaling, which is attractive.

Hi jonah,

We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties on our website so I am unable to check I am afraid, however in the meantime I thought I'd clarify the add on to Mongolia.

The add on is 2 nights long on a bed&breakfast basis. On Day 1 (day 14 of main tour) you'll fly to Beijing where we include sightseeing with visits to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City and then free time for shopping.

On Day 2 we include a full day excursion to the Great Wall where we'll take the cable car to the top for great views. We'll also visit a Lama temple.

This add on is accompanied by a Just You Tour Manager throughout.

Hope you find this information useful.

Kind regards,

Elisa

The trip I'm most interested in is Iran.

I never got the brochure yesterday and as I would hate to go home tonight and it still not be there, any chance you could let me know the dates for Iran - unfortunately they are not showing on the website. I appreciate a few glitches at this time ... it just happens to be the information I'm desperate to know!

Sorry for being so impatient!

Good Morning Angie,

I can see that you clicked on the 'Do Not Mail' the last time you ordered a brochure from us which is why you haven't received the new brochure. I have ordered a brochure for you and it will arrive at your doorstep soon.

Would you like us to Untick the 'Do Not Mail' in order for you to receive new brochures when they land?

Apologies that you cannot see the departures dates for Iran on the website. This will be looked into as soon as possible.

The departure dates for the 'Highlights of Persia tour are as follows;

13th May 2017

9th September 2017

14th October 2017

Kind Regards,

Mildred

I'm very pleased to see the new Cape Cod / New England and Great Eastern USA holidays.

I have a very strong dislike of long distance coach travel. The former holiday gives the opportunity to explore and experience the atmosphere of that part of New England, and the latter the distances travelled are far more reasonable than on the previous Historic East trip. I like to spend as much time as possible seeing new places on foot, not looking out of the window of a tour bus.

The Malta & Gozo walking holiday also looks good.

There are only two Indian holidays, in the North and South. How about introducing East and West of India in the near future!

New brochure arrived just in time. Getting packed ready for Sardinia tomorrow.

The Mongolia trip is the standout one for me, though I think I have to save up first before I can afford that one, think I'll wait for some reviews from some bolder souls.

Whilst the Iran trip does look interesting, the trouble with visas before and after the trip is a little off putting as much as the no alcohol....

The jewels for me are San Marino, Crete and Azores all three and Mongolia have been added to my checklist.

I agree with Katy and Cape Cod. There are 3 days where you spend time in Falmouth on your own. There is so much to see in this area, that these days could be utilised. Not enough time in Boston either and a trip via Plimouth to see where the Pilgrims landed could also be added en route to Boston. Just saying

Good Morning,

We appreciate your suggestions and will be sure to pass it onto our product team to see what can be done about this.

As you know, we consider all our travellers inputs- that's how our 'Route 66' tour came about.

Many Thanks,

Mildred

I agree too. Not enough time in Boston and no add-on on offer.

Hi

I agree with Dyuti about trips to other parts of India. Mongolia looks interesting but will have to see if money will stretch to this one! No interest in visiting Iran or any country with poor human rights history.

Still have a number of places on my wish list so it may be some time until I get round to new trips!!!

Anyone excited and considering the Mongolia holiday? I am but would like some discussion about it. I have been told lots of biting insects. Could this be a problem? I seem to get bitten in the early days of these hols but then it stops. Always use recommended feet based repellants.
