Hi,

If you go to Search and put in India and Reviews, you will hopefully get all the answers you need! When I did this trip (which is fantastic, and is still my favourite JY tour!), the most important things to take are Imodium and Anti-bacterial gel/wipes! I also went vegetarian (which was difficult for me!), but I did not have any stomach upsets.

India is incredible - you will either love it or hate it - I loved it!

Enjoy!

Cheers,

Hils

Hi again,

Another vital thing to take is Rehydration salts - lots!

Hi Nanu

I have been on both of the Indian trips. The Spirit if India is very full on, with lots of travelling but you do see so much. Like Hils I count this as my favourite JY holiday. The Kerala holiday is much more relaxed but is also enjoyable.

If you have any specific questions please ask.

Enjoy your holiday

just back from the Spirit of India trip, a very packed schedule, 7 hotels, lot of coach travel on bumpy roads, the food was excellent, I took the travelaid pastilles as recommended and had no problems; if you have got an e-visa make sure you look out for the e-visa signs at imigration in Delhi, there are different desks depending on the type of visa you have, we all queued at the first set of desks only to be sent somewhere else as we hadn't spotted the signs. On this trip you can exchange currency at the hotels at better rates than the airport, most of the retail opportunities (carpets, jewellery, marble) tend to be in the higher price range so if you are going with the intention of bringing back a carpet or something make sure you have your cards set up to use abroad.
