I went on this fantastic tour a few years ago, I also did the add on, if you can I would definitely recommend staying on for that. I went September/October time and it was HOT and humid, did get bitten quite a bit at the second hotel, so make sure you take mosquito sprays etc, you will need vaccinations and malaria tabs so check with your practice nurse or doctors, the only one I paid for was Yellow Fever, the malaria tablets ( malerone) I got off the internet much cheaper, you need to take before you go while your away and for some time when you come back.
Great tour loved seeing the animals and loved relaxing by the pool on the add on.
Take plenty of wet wipes, hand cleansing gel, packets of tissues, etc have a look and see what the reviews are on the board say, I am sure I left one on there when I came back.
