yes you have posted in the correct place, don't worry you will get the hang of things as you go on.

I cannot make your mind up where to go other than say find one you like and book it. I have been travelling with JY since Sept 2006 and have my 10th tour booked for 2014.

I have been on all sorts of tours, Kenya Safari! Austrian lakes, many USA, and New Zealand and more, so if there is anything I can help with just ask.

Great times ahead for you and people to make friends with and have a laugh, all the while by visiting stunning locations, in a very safe way.

Why don't you browse and see if there is a destination you always wanted to visit and book it as your first holiday? I did this for my first holiday with Just You. I always wanted to see Petra so I booked Jordan. I had a great time and since then I have been to Andalucia, Costa de la Luz and Holyland. I had two holidays booked for 2013 but had to cancel due to health problems. I am looking forward to booking something for 2014 as soon as I feel fit enough to travel. Travelling with Just You is fantastic. There is nothing to worry about as everything is taken care of and you will meet people of all ages and experiences. I sincerely hope that you will make up your mind soon and book something., You are in for a treat!...

Im Shamila, just joined today, while searching for a 1st solo holiday. Im in the same boat, do not know anyone & dont know what destination to book. Have to do more research I guess. You are not alone :-)

My first JY trip was out to the Cilento Coast in Italy. A really good first experience. wonderful hotel, a nice bunch of people and I enjoyed the fact of having my own space if I wanted it but could mix in as well. JY is so well organised and the Tour Managers are excellent.

Since then I have been on the Istrian Discovery (highly recommended). back to Cliento because I loved it so much and then this last October to Tuscany (smashing family run hotel and a good range of trips). In May I am going to Slovenia.

Like others here I would say pick something and go for it. There are lots of people here who have done a lot more travelling than me and can always help with queries. :thumbup:
