Hi! I've just registered for this forum. I'll be booking the holiday tomorrow and would love to hear from anyone else that's going. It would be nice to know at least one person before I go.

Hi I have also booked to go to Salzburg for Christmas. It will be my first solo trip so feeling a little nervous as it gets nearer. I agree it would be nice to know someone to break the ice.:):)

I did this trip last Christmas and it was superb! Christmas day lunch on top of a mountain in brilliant sunshine surrounded by deep snow and snow-covered houses in the valley - magical! As the Austrians celebrate Christmas Eve rather that Christmas Day the Christmas market and shops were open in the afternoon. Wrap up well as it will be VERY cold!
