I would like to hear off anyone who is going on this tour, and if they have booked a show in Las Vegas.

Hi there - I'm going on this tour and as yet have not booked a show in Las Vegas - I've booked the boat trip in San Francisco and the 3 in 1 grand canyon trip - I wasn't too sure about the show - probably becasue I was uncertain about whether anyone was going - I am probably up for it - if I wasn't going on my own! Are you going and if so which one - Cirque du soleil wouldn't have been my first choice but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be interested

Hi There

I too am going on the America' Golden West on the 2nd September from Manchester. I also have booked for the grand canyon, and also booked for Alcatraz on the 4th Sept.

I too would be interested in a show in Las Vegas but not on my own what shows are they?

Andrea

Hi, I was on this tour in April. If I did the tour again I would definitely be booking a show ahead of my holiday in future. The Las Vegas show was the only part of the holiday that was disappointing for me. I was told by JY that our Tour Manager would be able to organise a show for us when we arrived in the USA but, although travellers kept asking about it throughout the holiday, it was left until we arrived in Las Vegas where we were told to go talk to the Concierge ourselves. We then realised that it was too late to see anything worthwhile - no seats left, so we settled for a show depicting the history of Vegas, it was ok but not the block-buster Vegas-type show we had hoped to see! So if you're really keen to see something spectacular, my advice would be to get it booked as soon as you know which evening you will have free in the itinerary. Sue

Hi Andrea,

There's a large array of shows however I am unsure what night will be free on our schedule to be able to book one in advance just yet.

Also, which grand canyon trip are you going on as I am interested in that myself?

Thanks, Pamela

Hi Sue,

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I'm waiting to see what nights we have free to attend a show in Las Vegas and will get back to you soon on what kind I fancy - I also don't want to be going on my own.

Thanks, Pamela

Hi Pamela,

I've also waited to see if anyone else is booking the Las Vegas Show, think the free evening is on day 9 on 10th, according to the brochure, when I rang the no. JY gave us to ring to book, all the ones on list were sold out! They told me of another Cirque due Soleil called Zoomanity which was still available from New York New York hotel, prices at £84 to £107, this was a few days ago, so don't know if still available, if booking we could share a taxi there? Also am going to book tomorrow, the San Fran. Bay Cruise & Helicopter flight, unsure whether to book the Universal Studios in LA, if anyone else has booked this, let me know please? Have been before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Also booking the Canyon 3 in 1 with Skywalk, only going to do this once, so want to see as much as possible. Looking forward to meeting you, Heather

Hi Heather,

I have been looking on websites to see what shows are available and I found two shows that are available on wed.11sept. These are Penn and Teller magicians and Donny and Marie Osmond Iam thinking of booking one of these if you are interested? yours Pamela.

Andrea,

The Skywalk, is not the actual walking out on the glass platform, you have to pay extra for this, I believe the helicopter lands you near it, so you can then decide or just see around the top & views.

See you on 2nd. Heather

Hi you all,

I am really looking forward to this holiday, not long now. Have booked most excursions, except a show in Los Vegas, as I don't want to be going on my own!

Has anyone booked for a show yet - if so, which one? On what day & what ticket price? The 11th is after going to the Grand Canyon, so am unsure if there is time or would be too tired? Brochure mentions -10th as optional evening show? What does anyone else think? As Grand Canyon flight is at around 4.30am start! Don't know when shows finish at night.

I only live in the Heatons, Stockport,15mins from the Airport, where are others coming from?

Not so long now. See you there, Heather

Hi Pamela

I am booked on this tour and would be very interested in booking for the Donny and Marie Osmond Show on the 11th which I think is the free night. I was just a bit concerned how late the show is because I have booked the Grand Canyon trip for the next day and I think it is a 4 am start. So looking forward to the holiday. Carolyn A.

Hi Pamela & Carolyn,

I'm not booking anything until I get there, but Penn & Teller are good, I've seen them, as appearing on Tue 10th not 11th? At Rio Hotel, is this where you've seen them on? Also 11th is the trip to Grand Canyon, maybe too tired, as need to be up around 4.30am that day! Anyway, looking forward to meeting you both at Manchester airport, very soon now. Heather
