Hello, my name is Margaret. I have been a widower for 13 years and after an 8 year relationship, find myself alone again. I love my holidays and am keen to make new friends and wonder if Just You is the right thing for me? Would you recommend it and if so would you recommend anywhere to go for my first break?

Hello Margaret,

Sorry to hear you're on you own again. I've had one Just You holiday and have booked my second.

My first holiday was a sort trip to Luxembourg by coach im 2010 as I wanted to see how I would cope with it and for my second, I'm going to Canada in September! So I think it passed!,

Just you is a great way to book a holiday if you are travelling alone as you can mix with your fellow travellers and have some time to yourself it you want and the tour managers will look after you very well.

Regarding holiday choice, I think that you should choose somewhere you really want to go and take it from there.

Hope you book something.

Kind regards

Ann

Hi Margaret

I have just come back from my first Just you holiday and im already planning my next. I have also been a widow for 13 years and although i have been on a lot of holidays in the last 13 years i have always been with either friends or my young daughter. I found it the most stress free holiday i have ever been on. The only person i had to please was myself . I was free to do my own thing when i wanted too but knew that the tour manager was there if needed and there was always someone around to have an evening drink and chat with. I went to Russia and im looking at Cuba or Vietnam for next year. I chose Russia because it was somewhere i had always wnated to go so i knew that if single holidays turned out not to be right for me at least i had been someone i really wanted tp go. But as i say i cant wait to book another.

Hope you give it a go and enjoy

Amanda

Hello and welcome Margaret

Just You is a wonderful company to holiday with. Women usually outnumber men! Age range varies from 20s to 80s. You are well taken care of from start to finish and you get an opportunity to meet people of all ages and experiences. I have been on 4 Just You holidays and enjoyed each one of them. As for the destination, why don't you pick a place you always wanted to visit and go ahead and book it.

Regards

Jaya

Hi my name is Chris I too have just joined and am just as nervous. I have opted for the easy option to start with and have booked on a weekend break in the UK.

I too am a widow....17 years....I have usually gone on cruises with friends or family but have sometimes ended up helping a close friend out financially with the cruise! This idea of people n their own sounds great .....I have things ooked for this year plus I keep needing to visit the UK(I live in Gibraltar) as my Mum who is 100 lives n a Home?...so a lot of my money for holidays goes n those trips!!

Hello Margaret,

If you want to know how many people are going on a particular trip, go into the Ask the Editor section and enter the tour and departure date you are interested and then ask how many are booked on the trip. The editor can also tell you the male/female ratio and age range. Might help with your decision.

Best thing is to choose somewhere you really want to. I tried a short European trip first because I was a bit worried about going alone. My next trip is Canada in September.

Hope you find a holiday you like.

Kind regards

Ann

Hi Margaret

You do not have to worry about being alone when travelling with Just You. You will be with a group of like minded travellers. I have been on 4 Just You holidays and have enjoyed every one of them. Your fellow travellers are usually friendly, you get to meet lots of new people and see nice places. Take the plunge and book somewhere - you can try a weekend in the UK if you really are that worried and then take it from there.

Regards

Jaya

Hi Margaret

You will like Costa de la Luz. I did this holiday in May 2012 and loved it. Your nerves will soon disappear as soon as you meet your fellow travellers at the airport!
