Pick your date carefully. If you go to early you won't see any colours.

On the other hand I have been to New England before too and, although the colours were spectacular, I did eventually start to feel "seen one orange leaf, seen them all"!! Beautiful though.

I have booked the tour with JY this time to go a bit earlier hoping for slightly warmer weather and don't mind missing some of the colours. last time I was there late September/early October.
