I am thinking of going on the china trip this year, but can't decide whether to do the Yangtze Cruise add on. To any of those who have been on the cruise before- was it worth doing? How did you fill the time - as the brochure doesnt really say anything other than 'cruising down the rivers'. Were there any excursions? Any help much appreciated

I did China last September with the Yangtse cruise add on. It was very worthwhile doing the add on. It was not just about cruising down the river. There was an included excursion every day. Some were longer than others but they were all worthwhile. The only thing that I would advise you do would be to upgrade the cruise. The extras make all the difference.
