Is anyone booked on this trip? Can't decide between this or Route 66

Thank you

Hi Olive, I've booked the Parks tour for Sept, can't wait! I'd say definitely go for it, the scenery will be spectacular! Route 66 doesn't appeal to me at all, driving through uninspiring backwoods towns and cities and country music yeuch!!

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Olive

I thought the hotels were great (we did not go to Courtyard, Cody or Denver), definitely superior not basic: spacious, comfortable and quiet with free room wi-fi. I heard there were a few instances of not very hot water.

I did Parks and Bighorn from 11 May 2012. It was warm except at nights around Yellowstone. I wished I had brought gloves for the early morning and very cold Snake River trip: fantastic bird watching. All the parks and excursions were fantastic as was watching a herd of roaming bison from 200 yards in Yellowstone. We did make a brief stop on Route 66.

Regards

Paul

Thanks Paul

I'm thinking about doing this trip in May this year. Do you have any other tips. Were the hotels OK? Having reviewed some of them (probably not a good thing to do) some of them seem pretty basic? Thanks again - Olive
