Hello Everyone

I booked the above tour this morning and I am very excited.

Is there anyone else going in this trip?

Me, I'm 34, work as a Nanny and I live in Oxfordshire. I am used to travelling with my job, so this will be a real treat to be travelling for myself.

Hi Michelle,

It's a shame you haven't booked for May as I am going on the 22nd!! My first ever long haul holiday. Never mind, I will be able to tell you all about it when I get back.

Hello Michelle

Well done! I am not going on this trip, but China is one of the destinations on my long list of destinations to visit and hopefully I will be able to go there next year. The reviews from those who have been are very positive. I am sure you are going to have a great time.

Happy travels.

Hi

Thanks people, for the welcome.

I am considering treating myself to upgrading the flight, both directions. If anyone has done this, I would really appreciate feedback as to whether it's worth the money.

Hi Michelle, I can't speak for the China trip but two ladies who were on my India trip earlier this year upgraded - it was very expensive (£2,000!!) but they said it was well worth it. The had mini cubicles, their seats reclined into something like a bed, got a bigger tv and better food. So if you can afford it, you should have a much more pleasant flight. Then again you could use the money to book another holiday!!

All the best,

Bob

Thank you, Bob. I think it is going to be worth it. From what I have heard it's a long flight, so I am waiting to hear back from the company on the cost. I am bracing myself.
