I'm planning to visit the following two countries next year with just you:

1. Peru late May, early June.

2. China late August, early September.

Can anyone advise me on matters such as: are these reasonable times to go on these tours as I'm most comfortable in a temperate climate?

What are the most suitable items of clothing to take & any other consideration that you advise?

I'm in my early 60's, but am very fit as I attend the gym three times a week, this includes weight training & some body-building.
