Hello.

I'm considering two long-haul tours with justyou next year.

1. Peru/Macchu Picchu towards the end of May.

2. China towards the end of August.

Can anyone advise me if they're reasonable times to travel to these two places, because of the weather conditions or any other considerations; subject to booking availability?

Regards,

Richard.

Hi Richard - I have booked Peru for March 2013. I have several Peruvian colleagues and they have said that is a good time to visit. In Lima it will be summer but reckon on chilly at Macchu Piccu because of the altitude.

If you book, see you there.

Hello Richard

I went to China in September and had good weather then. Our Tour Manager told us that this was a very good time to visit weatherwise. The rainy season is between May and August. Beijing had serious flooding in July this year.

Hope this helps.

Hi Richard

I've booked for the 9th April 2013, weather should nice for walking etc in lima but obviously it will be chilly up at Cuzco and Machu Picchu first thing in the morning.

Maybe I'll meet you then

Carol

ps, I went to China in September and was wearing t-shirts etc all the time.

Thanks Anna. I'd originally planned to visit Peru during March/April, but a holiday opportunity arose where I could visit the Scilly Isles for the first time in Apri,l with one of my cousins & his wife.

Regards,

Richard.
