I don't might mixed age ranges as long as there is someone around my age! I am fancying Italy, and would like to hear about the experiences of previous travellers with Just you!

Thanks:)

Hello Jennyjill, as you're young at heart I very much doubt that you'll have any age problems.

I'm in my early 60s & have very much enjoyed 5 tours with justyou since October last year.

I would say that a high proportion of travellers are aged in their 50s & 60s; but the age range I've experienced is from 24 to about 85. Furthermore I generally found felloow travellers on these tours to both very friendly & helpful.

Regards,

Richard.

Hello, as you describe yourself as youthful at heart, I doubt that you'll have any age problems. Generally fellow travellers to to both friendly & helpful.

The age range I've experienced is from 24 to abot 85, the majority of people in their 50s & 60s.

In my experience I would say that the majority of people are from 55 to 75, with around 60/70 % being women.

Having said that, this is changing (quite fast I think), with more young people and a much more even male/female ratio. Ben is often asked the age range on particular holidays, and if you look at his replies, both of these trends are clear. It will be interesting to see how this affects the type of holidays offered by JY.

At 64 you would be bang in the middle, but age is only a number anyway, and it's more about your approach to life/attitutes than physical age. Thus I've met "very young" people in their late 70's and "very old" people in their 30's on JY holidays !

Come on - age is just a number! You are as old as you feel. I have been on 4 Just You holidays and the age ranges have varied from early 20s to 80s. I think being in a group of varied ages is great. You meet people with a wide range of experiences and can also get an opportunity to learn a lot as well. If I were you I would just pick a destination I always wanted to see and book it and look forward to enjoying the experience.

Happy travelling.

I agree with all of the above I am now 53 and have been going on JY holidays now for 6 years. I love the age range from younger to older. I might be in the middle bracket say but I am not as good physically as some of the much older people. As Stuart says you can be young but old in ways and old in age but have a very young outlook so we all meet in the middle some where, and it's all good. I have had some of my greatest chats with people much older than me, and learnt so much from hearing about other people life stories.

Age is a just a number...

Things in life are ther to try, if you don't like it don't go back for more.!!

I have now been on 8 tours far and wide seen some great places and met some lovely people along the way. I have my 9th tour book.

So good luck.

I agree with all the above and understand why age is a worry for some. I have said it a thousand times but here goes— AGE IS JUST A NUMBER.

My first Just You holiday was when i was 22 to Paris and i have been on two subsequently with one planned next year. In the end, people are on holiday to have a good time and explore the region and it is that, more than anything, that binds the group together. Arbitrary characteristics like age, gender race, sexuality ect really don't appear to be a problem on these trips. Everyone just want's to have a good time. I am still in contact with to 65 year old's that i met in Croatia, so i doesn't matter, i promise!

Of-course if you want to ask me questions privately, just email urs to just you and ill email u back

Thanks

Hi Bonzy

Just pick a destination you always wanted to visit and book it. Trust me - you will not regret it. Travelling with Just You is fantastic. You are looked after all the way and get an opportunity to see new places and meet new people.

Regards

Jaya

Hello Jenny

I have this week booked Riviera Splendour for 25th June 2013. This is my first time with Just You (my husband cannot travel ) and I am of a similar age to you. Don't worry about it & book your holiday. Good luck. Marian

Hi

Don't worry. Having been widowed last year I am taking my first single, and JY holiday this year, and I am in my mid 70's. I chose JY because having read the various posts it seems to me that as far as JY travellers are concerned, age doesn't matter.

Go on, find a tour you fancy and take the plunge. If you are not sure, try a shorter one as a start.

Happy travellling.

Regards, Sylvia

Hi Jenny

I went to Italy in 2011 and the majority of people were in their 60s and 70s. I am in my 50s and was one of the youngest. So go ahead and you'll have a great time!
