Hi, Anyone going on the South African Explorer trip next week (25th October)? Not long to go now, can't wait....love to hear from any fellow travellers.

I did this trip on the 13th September and it was amazing. I believe you will have the same tour manager, Annie Forsey. Annie is one the of the best tour managers I have ever experienced with Just You, she is great. She is very passionate about South Africa and you will come away loving the country as much as she does.

You will love it

I am! I will be travelling up from Hampshire on Thursday afternoon by train and getting the Railair bus from Woking.

http://www.citysightseeing.co.za/  for 220 rands (about £16).

See you in the lounge, if not sooner.

It sounds fantastic. Do you have any recommendations that we should follow or any tips. Is it worth going on more than one game drive. Did you have to organise one meal a day for yourselves. How much spending money did you need for essentials. What was your favourite part? Sorry for all the questions but I am really curious and excited!!

Hello this trip was fantastic, it is the best I have ever done with Just You. In answer to some of your questions we did every game drive that was available and it was all very exciting but it can get a bit cold on the early morning session make sure you take a jumper, and you may also need a torch for the hotel.

With reference to food we had to buy one meal everyday and I never to seem to spend more than 100 rand each day. We never had a bad meal all the food was excellent.

I am struggling to find one highlight of the trip it was all great, we managed to see most of the big five and we even had the chance to stroke a cheetah. The interaction with elephants was fabulous and I had a ride on an elephant that was 11 metres high. You won't be disappointed.
