Please do go to Australia girls, you really won't regret it. I was there for a year in 2009 and it was the best decision I ever made. I think that everybody should see Australia in their lifetime, one of those must see places. If anybody needs any advice I'm willing to give you as much info as I can!

I totaly agree with your comment , if anybody gets the chance to visit AUSTRALIA then do so fantastic country and I loved the people, Ayres Rock for me was amazing and helo ride over was the icing on the cake..well worth the long flight..I have just been to New Zealand this year which was great but if I had to pick AUSTRALIA would be my 1st choice.

Like Swagger says if I can help at all just ask..

Hi Becky-Boo

I am booked on the trip to Australia with the Singapore add on in Oct 2012. Am going to Singapore for 4 nights before hand to Aus and am very much looking forward to that as well. I am sure we will all have an amazing holiday.

Am also wondering if anyone is going to Hong Kong on the return journey home from Aus ?? Haven't booked this yet but may be able to change my travel plans if enough people are taking this up.

Cant wait till Oct 2012 !!!

Look forward to hearing from my future holiday buddies too.

HI Becky-Boo and Maggie,

Booked alongtime ago for this holiday on those dates and like Maggie having the Singapore stop over. Unlike Maggie I am not stopping over in Hong Kong on the way back, although I have been to Singapore and Hong Kong before I feel Hong Kong is well below par to Singapore sot thats why I won't be going. BUT if you have never been to Hong Kong before it's well worth the visit to say you have been and seen the place.

Looking forward to meeting you both, Maggie in Singapore and yourself in Perth or the flight from Singapore when we join.

Regards

Eric.

Went to Australia with JY earlier this year and can totally recommend. Certainly a lot of travelling but we saw an awful lot, still with free time to 'do your own thing'. Highlight for me - scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Something I have always wanted to do even at my age (pushing 70!). Only draw-back, Australia is expensive although pound/Australian dollar rate has improved since I went.

I can recommend the Hong Kong add-on. Fascinating place with masses of shops (cheap!) and sights to see. Excursions easily bookable via hotel and most will pick up from hotel, so easy. If a choice between Singapore and Hong Kong go for HK!

Hi David G

Thanks for the advice re Hong Kong. Still undecided about booking HK on the return journey. Still not sure how many people will be doing this add on at the end. Still have time to amend my booking though.

Thanks

Maggie
