Hi Jackie,

My flight information says the flight to Chicago from Heathrow is 11.45 a.m. so all the other flights will be connecting flights to Heathrow and will vary.

I live in the Midlands and we do not get any connecting flights (and only a few direct flights) so I will travel down the day before and stop overnight in a hotel with parking. I did this when I went to China in March and although I was worried at first, it really was easy.

I go on 3rd September and although we have flight times, these could change, so for me this will save me having to worry about getting to the airport on time.

I expect you, like me, are really pleased that this trip is available next year. I am sure that whenever we all go it will be worth the wait.

Be happy,

Best wishes,

Lesley

The flights are like Lesley says. 11-45. I'm not sure of the flight times from Manchester to Heathrow and really don't fancy getting up at the crack of dawn so that's why I'm going down the day before and staying overnight at Heathrow.

Thanks for the info Lesley, I don't drive so the flight from Manchester would be much easier for me than getting down to Heathrow with luggage in tow ! But like Paul also says it will be an early start if I go from M/cr, but I've done early starts before and could always have a kip on the plane!! Still debating for next Sept. or Oct departure it's getting the time off work that could be the problem, will keep you up to date x
