Hi Joan
With regards to your baggage and airlines, I think it maybe a good idea to contact Olly the editior on this issue, As i dont really know your travel arrangements and he will be more qualified than me to answer it, I had a BA flight from Glasgow to Gatwick and reclaimed my bags as I was using two different airlines., And then checked them through again at Gatwick as we were going via Bulgarian Airways. But please contact Olly on this.
With regards to currency, As you are going all inclusive I just took Bulgarian Lev money with me, However there are many exchange places in the local town, I also believe the hotel will also change sterling. However i would tread carefully when using some of the exchange shops particularly in the local town of old Nessebar. The rooms do have safes in them and cost about £1 per day if required. You will find that in the town and the country in general it is relatively cheap compared to the UK, For example in the town you can get the equivelent of a pint of beer for about 70p, However that is the local beer, But if you go for the imported beers like Tuborg etc it will be about £2. still cheap to UK prices. Food in town if you want a change from the inclusive cuisine is very cheap indeed.
I hope this helps
and if i remember anything else I will be sure to let you know
Andy
