Wednesday
Hi Ian,
I noticed that you work at Heathrow so this must be a handy departure for you. I've not been there before as I usually fly from Manchester or Liverpool.
Have you been to the States recently as I haven't. I was wondering about their electricity as I will want to charge my phone and camera, and may need a voltage adaptor! Not had one of those before - have you?
Hope to meet everyone in the departure lounge, and hope that we get to sit near each other on the flight.
Julie
Hi Julie,
Hope you get to read this before departure on Monday.
Yes, Heathrow is a very handy depature for me 🙂
The States voltage is 110V, however you will not need a voltage adapter to charge your phone or camera as your charger takes care of the voltage difference. All you need is an adapter to the American two pin socket system. If you do not have one they can be purchased at the airport.
I've not been to the States for ages, last time I went I think was 1997 to Seattle.
See you all in the lounge.
Ian
