I'm not going on this holiday but I went last year in April and had a brilliant time.

Thanks so much for responding. Did you take much Uzbekistan money? How easy is it to change dollars? It looks an exciting trip and likely to be very hot in May. Would you mind if I came back to you if I think of more questions?

Hi Jane, I'm, on this trip too. I googled Uzbekistan plus embassy. There's some useful info. Looks to be very hot at the moment so it'll be sandals and t shirts for me. Useful to take a long sleeved shirt for mosque visits as I've been to Islamic countries before. I'm really looking forward to this trip. Jean
