I did this holiday last year for my first JY holiday and reckon its a great trip to choose, its very hectic but worth it as you see so much.

One big advantage with long haul holidays is that you get chance to meet up with others in the executive lounge at the airport.

I have not travelled on my own before either, but decided to go for it. I have booked Golden West in July (I work in a school so it's the only time I can go). Lots of people on this forum seem to have really enjoyed this holiday so I'm sure it will be great. So far I haven't heard from anyone else on the same trip yet but hope I will before we go. Hope you enjoy your trip.
