Has anyone else booked or do they know the hotel ? I have visited Mallorca before but not this area.

Does everyone sit together at meal times?

Any information gladly received to help me make my mind up.

I have booked on this break in September. Whilst I do not know the hotel, I have been to Santa Ponsa before for a week and liked the resort, however i didnt see it at its best as it rained a lot - i thiink it was May time. I chose this tour because I have been to Majorca before and I felt I would feel comfortable in this resort despite this time being on my own - this is my first holiday alone,, so i understand any apprehensions. I'm not a beach holiday kind of person but I remember there being a lovely beach, shops and bars, but nothing too lively, I also remember being able to have a short walk to a local marina. I think it will be a good base for seeing other parts of the island, which is what I am looking forward to...... but again - I am nervouse about it....

Hope this helps. Like you it took me a while to make my mind up to book this holiday, but then i thought "go for it" and now I cant wait for September!!

I have been to Mallorca many years ago and liked it. It will also be my first holiday alone and with JY.

I thought the same as you and decided to choose somewhere I was familiar with for the first time. I do like lounging in the sunshine, but also getting around and seeing other things. I remember visiting Soller before which I liked.

September is going to be the best time for me, and I will try to book today.

So all being well see you in September.

Looking forward to meeting you - I think when this forum helps you realise most people are as daunted as ourselves, so we are all in the same boat... still daunting tho, but nice to actually find someone going on the same trip. I am flying from Manchester, what about you?
