You would be at the younger age range of which there are fewer people...I would say the most popular age range is 55-70...I am 52 have been on JY tours for last 4 years and have done 6 tours.

I'm 45 and I have just booked a trip to Canada ...first time solo trip for me.

From feedback on this forum I'm told I'd be in the middle age wise...I guess it depends on the trip and 'luck of the draw'.

Everyone seems positive on here though.

Hi Phil, welcome to the forum.

JY does attract travellers of all ages and most trips will reflect that. If you are ok with travelling and mixing with a group of people whose ages will be quite varied then I would thoroughly recommend booking a JY trip.

However, if you want to go on a holiday made up completely of those in their 40's (and there's nothing wrong with wanting that) then perhaps JY may not be for you.

I suppose it would depend on your personal preferences.

If you are unsure about the age issue may I suggest testing the water with a Discovery Weekend.
